I am so sorry for your loss. I didn’t know your father, but I know that you are such a nice girl that both your parents must be lovely people. I was very impressed that you came to school on Monday and Tuesday. I hope being with your family now helps you start to heal. I lost my father when I was 28, and I lost my mother last year, so I know a little about the hurt you must be feeling. You and your family are in my thoughts. If there is anything I can do at school to help you get through, just let me know.

By title, Brian was my boss, but he never acted as such. Rather, he treated me as a teammate and an equal. I have great respect for Brian’s abilities, work ethics, and for the great person that he was. He will be missed very much.

Hannah and Emily and Brian’s entire family,

My deepest sympathies to all of you. I am so heartbroken to hear about Brian. He worked here in our Human Resources Department and was such a hard worker. He would help with anything we needed and did such a great job. He will be deeply missed. I know our department keeps sharing fun stories about working with Brian and it keeps us smiling. Hold your memories near and dear to your hearts too; he was a wonderful guy and I know so proud of Hannah and Emily. He talked about you both all the time.

I am so sorry to learn of the loss of Brian Walsh. He was a remarkable person who brought joy and warmth to the world. He was always good spirited and full of laughter. He was kind, gentle and very talented with computers. He always had a quick and accurate answer regarding any question I threw at him. I will miss him very much. He was a terrific fellow. I pray for strength and comfort for your family during this difficult time.
