Caring daughter of the late Clement and Stella Ivanski (nee Stanczyk). Gracious sister of Josephine Falen (Al, deceased), Theodore Ivanski (Florence, deceased) and Marie Mistision (deceased). Generous aunt and friend to many. Betty loved animals, especially dogs.

Beloved son of Dorothy and the late Robert. Dearly loved son in law, brother in law and uncle to the Shepard family. Cousin and friend to many. Robert was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a retired letter carrier.

MIZE, Helen

Helen MIZE, Age 88.  Beloved wife of the late John William, Sr.  Dearest mother of Dr. John, Jr. and Timothy J.  Daughter of the late Rose Arnold and step-daughter of the late Percy Arnold.  Dear sister of the following deceased: Eleanor Moran and Ruth Bouse.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 

Helen was a 1943 graduate of Notre Dame High School, a 1947 graduate of Notre Dame College, B.A. Ed., and a 1967 graduate of Kent State University, M. Ed.  Mrs. Mize taught in the Cleveland Public Schools from 1947-1951, and was a teacher and elementary school principal in the Parma Public Schools from 1959-1998. 

Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, October 21 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bridget of Kildare Parish, Parma.  Private interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  VISITATION AT THE ZABOR FUNERAL HOME, 5680 PEARL RD., PARMA (between Ridge and Snow), SUNDAY FROM 2-6 p.m.
