Stewart A. HAWTHORNE. Age 88. Beloved husband of Betty A. (née Rogers)(deceased) and Cleo S. (née Nieva). Loving father of Suszanne Clay (John), Sandra Provo (Greg), and Walter Hawthorne. Adored grandfather of Amber Spratlen (Nicholus), Anthony Williams, Alisha A. Reese (David), Leah M. Provo, Mailysha Colter, and Walter R. Hawthorne, Jr. Great-grand father of 12. He enjoyed working on cars, construction projects, and horticulture, but was especially interested in urban farming. He enjoyed sharing his yearly harvest with neighbors and friends. He served in the U.S. Army (Korean Conflict) and retired from the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Co.

Irene BARTY (nee Wtulich) age 89, died Tuesday, July 9, at UH Parma Med. Ctr. She was born in Cleveland on January 29, 1930, the daughter of Alex and Agnes (Jamrose) Wtulich. Irene was married to Robert E. Barty (deceased) on August 21, 1948. She sang and played drums in the family polka band “Polka Honeys”. She enjoyed visiting the different Casino’s in the area and loved the many trips to Las Vegas. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker for her children, David Barty (deceased), Carol (Steve) Mosberger, Martin (Denise) Barty, Jacqueline (Rob) Yurko, Lawrence (Tina) Barty, 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Sophie Wozniak, Jean Studer, Stella Fularz and Adeline Fularz, four brothers, Edwin, Raymond, Alexander and Henry Wtulich.

Beloved grandfather of Jack (Sandra), Chris (Susan), and Erin Belofi (Mike). Great grandfather of 6. When Arno’s Dad passed away, life changed and he worked Tool and Dye and enjoyed being creative. He was an instructor in the military Army Core of engineers. He worked at the aircraft facility. He enjoyed being a part of antique car clubs and was an avid collector.
