MARILYN A. AKSTENS (nee Pfahl). Age 82. Beloved wife of the late Frank. Loving mother of Bill (Kathy), Ken (Janine), the late Sharon, and Amy. Beloved grandmother of Alex, Samantha, Terrin, Beth, Daina, Julia, and Jessica. Dear sister of the late Elaine Krach (John deceased) and sister in law of Barb Sondej (Karole).

May she rest in peace. I have been a friend since high school, part of her lunch bunch and also her Avon lady. Marilyn was a sweet, unassuming lady all the time I have been associated with her. Will miss her very much.
Classmates and truest of friends since seeing the very first Godzilla movie together and watching her children grow through the years. Will miss her dearly at our luncheons and milestones.
We want you to know our thoughts are with you and your fami ly we are deeply sorry for your lost . condolences to your family.
My condolences to the family. Marilyn was a very sweet person. Frank and my husband Charlie had both worked and travelled together for many years at the IFI. Marilyn and I got to accompany them to many Annual meetings, which took us to many places we otherwise would not have gone on our own. We got acquainted with each other and talked about our children. Frank and Charlie loved old cars and model trains.
Others have mentioned that Marilyn was a sweet person. She truly was sweet and very kind. I will miss her warmth and gentleness. My sympathy to her family.

Rest in peace, Marilyn. We will miss you at our monthly lunches. When we graduated high school in 1958, who knew our group would remain friends through all these years. You were a sweet and caring person and my condolences to your children and grandchildren.
