KRIST, Suzan

KRIST, Suzan

Suzan Krist passed away surrounded by family on June 10, 2022. Beloved wife of Joseph Krist, devoted mother to furbaby, Gracie. Dear sister to Jeff (Cindy) Sheldon, and Paul (Jill) Sheldon, loving aunt to Chris, Nikki, Madeleine, Regan, Brandon, Kelsea, and Joey. Sue was a caring and generous partner, a selfless pet parent, a caring daughter, sister, and friend. Suzan was born in Florence, KY on June 28, 1960 to Paul and Marilyn (Moffitt) Sheldon. Suzan worked in banking from an early age, but her life would change when she worked at the Federal Reserve Bank (Cincinnati). She met her future husband, Joe Krist, who also worked at the Federal Reserve Bank (Cleveland) when he was temporarily working in Cincinnati. Soon after, Sue transferred and moved to Cleveland. The two were married in Lakewood on July 21, 2006, and moved to Fairview Park. Sue loved gardening and making improvements to their home. She took pride in their beautiful yard; planting flowers, hostas and ferns. Everyone who met Sue was impacted by her kindness and generosity. Above all else she loved all animals great and small. Sue will be dearly missed but always in our hearts. There will be a celebration of life tribute forthcoming for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Cleveland APL clevelandapl.org or the International Myeloma Foundation www.myeloma.org. I would like to extend my sincere condolences for your loss Joe and Thank You so much for posting on Facebook or I would have never known. I had no idea that you and the family was going through this. Sue was a very special person full of love, eloquence and grace. Over the years I witnessed her love for Joe, her fur babies and her family. My heart goes out to Paul and Jeff for I know how much both you meant to her as well as the rest of her family. My prayers are with you Joe that the Lord wraps his arms around you and comforts you. May he also reach out his arms and hold tightly the rest of the family and they navigate this tragic loss. God bless all of you. Sue is soaring with the Angels now and will be guided by Marilyn and Paul. Peace be with you all.

Sue was the bravest most selfless person I have ever known. A very dear friend to all she met. Never a harsh word. Helped me through many of my troubles with loss of family members and also my fur babies. I will miss her laughter and sincere heart. Joe I know she loved you unconditionally. She also loved her family very much. Heaven is a much better place with her in it. I wish you and all her family much peace.

Sue was the most amazing, kind hearted woman. It was an absolute pleasure to get to know her, and Joe, through out her treatment. Even with our annoying questions and frequent checks, she always had a warm smile on her face any time we entered her room. Sue had unbelievable drive, she was selfless and caring. She inspired us every day to be better nurses, she continues to inspire us daily to be even better people. All of our condolences to one of our favorite families!

Sue and I worked together at the Federal Reserve Bank in both Cincinnati and Cleveland. She was always respected and loved by her coworkers. She genuinely cared about others and will be sorely missed. Rest in Heaven Sue. ❤️
