Celeste T. GRUNWALD

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Celeste Therese Grunwald, age 86, (nee Laubenthal), who peacefully gained her angel wings on Saturday, April 4th. Celeste was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was deeply cherished by all who knew her, and her life was a beautiful reflection of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. Though dementia may have taken pieces of her memory, it never took away the love she gave so freely or the love that surrounded her. Even in her most difficult days, that love remained constant and strong.

She is now at peace — restored in mind, free from pain, and reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Richard Grunwald; her siblings, Harold Laubenthal, Jeanette Laubenthal, Ruth Hopkins (Gary), Mildred Pesano (Allen), Jim Laubenthal (Mary), and her dear friend, Roseanne Farrell. Celeste leaves behind her loving daughters, Lara Carter (Mark) and Kirsten Gatt (Darryl), her beloved granddaughter, Emma Carter, and 5 grand pups, Rosie, Bob, Charlie, Leo, and Chloe. While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she is whole again, embraced in God’s grace and eternal love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her. We love you, Mom, always and forever.
