Christine M. CARROLL, age 75, April 21, 1950 – May 30, 2025
Christine M. Carroll passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
A devoted mother, she is survived by her sons, Kirk A. Nemerovsky and Thomas E. Nemerovsky, and cherished grandchildren, Zoe E. Cottrell (Cody), Avery N. Nemerovsky, and Zander T. Nemerovsky. Christine was a beloved sister to Kathleen A. Carroll, Patricia A. Carroll, Sandra A. Luikart (Paul), Eileen J. Luikart (Eric), and Edward J. Carroll, and aunt to 17 nieces and nephews whom she treasured very much.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward J. Carroll, and her mother, Grace M. Ryder.
Christine was a consummate gourmet and enjoyed hosting family gatherings and entertaining guests. She was also very proud of her Irish heritage and enjoyed traveling to Ireland to visit historic sites as well as Achill Island where her family was from.
Known for her sharp wit and playful spirit, Christine never lost her sense of humor and remained a light-hearted prankster throughout her life. She had a deep love of music, which she passed on to her sons, who are both musicians.
Christine will be deeply missed by her family, many friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
VISITATION, FRIDAY, JULY 11, 10:30 AM AT THE ZABOR FUNERAL HOME, 5680 PEARL RD. (BETW. SNOW & RIDGE RDS.), FOLLOWED IMMEDIATELY BY A FUNERAL SERVICE AT THE FUNERAL HOME AT, 11:00 AM. INTERMENT TO FOLLOW AT HOLY CROSS CEMETERY, BROOKPARK.
