Denny played guitar for over 40 years. He is one of the most beloved musicians in Cleveland due to his ability to welcome other musicians to the stage, his ability to play with others, and encourage others.
He played in many different bands and played in many different genres. He hosted a Jam Night for 15 plus years. Denny deeply touched many people through his music. He always was available for beginners, inspiring them, showing them tips and techniques as well as instrument advice. He enjoyed mentoring others in their musical journey.
Denny wrote his own music as well. He played the classics, but most of all he played the blues with his heart and soul tapped into every note. In honor of his late brother Dave, Denny wrote a blues song "Thinking of Dave." The song was played frequently at his gigs.
Denny was loved not only for his talent but the joy that he shared, through his laughter, his smile and his outlook on life. He enjoyed life and loved his family, friends, and fellow musicians.
His welcome smile, laughter, talent, and stage presence connected the fans to him and his music as they came a away with a feeling of joy.
Denny will be missed by his band mates in "MOJO Honey" and all of the fans and musicians who have heard and played with him.
