Eve M. Goebel

d. April 26, 2023

Eve of House Goebel, the First of her Name, creator of humans, matcher of socks, left this mortal realm early April 26, peacefully in her sleep, likely dreaming of HGTV,  getting her nails done, and what breakfast spot she should try next.

Eve is best known for creating half a dozen degenerate life forms who took it upon themselves to have one last laugh with their mom while writing her obituary.

Blessed with many skills and talents, Eve was a certified back seat driver who would brag of her pristine driving record and was notorious for driving 60 in a 65.

Always the adventurer, Eve spent 40 years searching for her husband Mike, who is famously known for his random disappearing acts and record setting voicemails.

Ever the scholar, Eve earned three on-line doctorate degrees in Patience, Pie Making, and Animal Whispering. She believed in following the rules in card games (something her husband has no concept of) and was drug free until age 65.

A talented DJ and avid tea expert, Eve spent much of her time hosting living room dance parties and afternoon tea with her favorite miniature humans.

Eve will be sorely missed. She was an incredible wife, mother, and grandmother. Her lifelong example of compassion, selflessness, and patience is a true testament to her character. We will be forever grateful for the time we had with her.

Visitation will be held at Zabor Funeral Home, 5680 Pearl Rd. (betw. Snow & Ridge) Parma OH 44129, on Tuesday, April 30 from 2:00 – 8:00 with a final visitation on Wednesday, May 1, 9:30-10:30am followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00am at St. Bridget of Kildare Parish (5620 Hauserman Rd. Parma OH 44130). Immediately following Mass all are welcome for a celebration of life at the Barons Bus Arena (5310 Hauserman Rd. Parma, OH 44130).

The family would like to thank Holy Family Home and their talented medical staff for their love and kindness taking such great care of Eve. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Holy Family Home (6707 State Road Parma, OH 44134).
