George A. Armstrong

George Andrew Armstrong, age 66, of Brook Park, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 29, 2026, after having received prayerful support and consolation of the Sacraments.

Born on September 15, 1959, in Cleveland, Ohio, George lived a meaningful life marked by service to his country in the U.S. Army. Following his military service, George went on to build a work life that included private security and machine tooling.

George was a dapper dresser who always wanted to look his best. He enjoyed 70’s rock and roll music and classic muscle cars. He had a good heart and valued the company of his friends. George will be remembered for his love of God and family. 

George was preceded in death by his parents, James B. and Franceska Armstrong, and older brother, William. George is survived by his brother, Deacon Jim, and sister-in-law Lori Armstrong.

Visitation for family and friends will take place on Saturday, February 7th at St. Bridget of Kildare Parish Church, 5620 Hauserman Rd. Parma, 44130 Vfrom 9:00 am to 9:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held immediately following visitation at 10 a.m. at St. Bridget of Kildare Parish Church. The interment immediately following the Mass will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery and is private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in George’s memory to St. Bridget of Kildare Parish.
