Grace was born in Parma, Ohio in 1924.  She attended St. Charles Grade School and Lourdes Academy High School.  She was employed at American Steel and Wire Company in market research and sales development.  She was active with the USO (United Service Organization), serving the military during World War II. After the war, she married her first grade classmate, Robert Kane who was her husband for more than 61 years.

Grace was active in many charitable and church organizations throughout the years including the Christ Child Society, the Legion of Mary, and St. Bridget of Kildare Renewal Team.  She became a homemaker who dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren.

She enjoyed all types of music, traveling, volunteering, and financial planning which she continued into her latter years.  She coordinated many social events but mostly enjoyed her large family gatherings.

Grace was known for her humility, wisdom, kindness, humor and strong moral convictions.  Today her family mourns their loss but consider them blessed as they treasure the memories of her unending love and support.
