Grace A. Penzvalto (nee Breslin) age 66, was surrounded by family when she went home peacefully to be with Jesus, on July 28th, 2022, following a month-long battle with a recurrence of melanoma.
Born in Queens, NY, on September 4th, 1955, Grace was the 11th of 12 children born to Alice and Edward Breslin. Grace was a devout Catholic, talented opera singer, dedicated La Leche League Leader, fantastic chef, trivia genius, and Airbnb Superhost, but her true passion was her family. She was cherished by her adoring husband of 42 years, Pal, and their profound love was an inspiration. She was a devoted mother who homeschooled her eight children: Paulette (Gavin) Penzvalto, Claire (Brandon) Moore, Joe (Carolina) Penzvalto, Maryann Penzvalto (Isaac Blaylock), Irene (Naveed) Kiyani, Betty (Derek) Hartman, Louisa Penzvalto, Julie Penzvalto, and bonus daughter Margaret Hubach. She delighted in fostering the talents of each of her children, and was the world's greatest cheerleader. She was the beloved grandmother of Sebastian, Felix, and Jude Moore, Violet and Ruby Hartman, and Layla Kiyani. She made a conscious effort to create a home for all, not just those related by blood, and the impact her generosity had on those around her cannot be measured. Her family will miss her greatly, but are comforted knowing her faith, love, and humor will live on in all who knew and loved her.
The family welcomes all to Visiting Hours on Sunday, July 31st from 3:00-6:00 PM at The Zabor Funeral Home, 5680 Pearl Rd. Parma, OH 44129 (betw. Snow & Ridge Rds.)
