John E. MURPHY, Sr. age 84. Beloved husband of 56 years to Therese (nee Stanek). Dearest father of Elizabeth Dziak and John E. Jr. (Lisa). Loving grandfather of Amber, Victoria, Kathleen, Cassidy, and Shannon.
John was extremely active in numerous sportsman's clubs such as Woods and Waters, Ducks Unlimited, Safari Club International, South Cuyahoga Sportsman Association, etc., and is in the Conservation Hall of Fame for the League of Ohio Sportsman. He dedicated his life to conservation and the education of outdoor sports to many generations of children. In lieu of flowers, please donate in his memory to Lakeandtrails.org or Ducks Unlimited.
