Joseph Richard Stofko

Joseph Richard Stofko, age 83, passed away October 11, 2026. He was born on November 15, 1942, in Cleveland, to Joseph Walter Stofko and Anna (Kundrat) Stofko.  

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Michael.  

Joe is survived by his beloved partner, Jean Cameron; sister-in-law, Alice, both of Strongsville; nieces Roberta (Bob) Tripodi of Medina; Karen (Craig) Kelling of Brunswick Hills; and both great (5) and 2 nd great (7) nieces and nephews.

Joe graduated from St. Benedictine High School in Cleveland. He retired as a security guard from Gund Arena. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles (Brunswick) for many years. He loved golf, playing cards, the Cleveland Guardians, and the trotters at Northfield Park.

He will be missed by his loved ones and his many friends at the Southpark Square Sr. Apartments.

All are welcome to Joe’s celebration of life 1 until 4 pm, November 7, 2026 at Southpark Square Senior Apartments (1 st Floor Event Room), 15101 Howe Road, Strongsville.

A private grave side service will be held at All Saints Catholic Cemetery in Northfield.
