Kristen Nichole Holland-Buchanan
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kristen Nichole Holland- Buchanan, beloved wife, mother, and daughter, cousin, niece, and friend to many. She left us too soon on September 16, 2024, at the age of 37.
Kristen was born on March 11, 1987, in Parma Heights, Ohio, where she grew up surrounded by the love of her family and friends. An active participant in school activities, she served as captain of her swim team and loved dancing, taking pride in her performances. Her early years were marked by success in child beauty pageants, showcasing her spirit and determination. Kristen was the heart of her family, always organizing (and bossing people around) while creating cherished memories.
Kristen's light shone brightest in her role as a devoted mother to her son Michael, as well as two Step-Children whom she loved as her own Jimmy and Myla. She approached motherhood with boundless love, creativity, and dedication, creating a warm and joyful home filled with laughter and fun. As a loving wife to her fiancé/husband, Jim, she brought unwavering support, joy, love, and companionship into their lives.
Kristen was not only a cherished family member but also a friend to many. Her infectious smile, kind spirit, and selfless nature made a lasting impact on everyone she met. But let's not forget her crazy and fun attitude toward life. She lived life to the fullest. She had a gift for bringing people together and always was the life of the party when she was around.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; her children, Jimmy, Michael and Myla; her parents, Colleen and Jim; her brother Tommy, and her sisters Jaimie and Carly. She treated her cousins Eryn and Kevin Convery as if they were her brother and sister. She was loved by many relatives, Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and her in-laws.
She had countless friends who will miss her dearly. Having a good time will never have the same meaning again without Kristen.
A celebration of Kristen's life will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 2pm-6pm with a 6pm service all at Zabor Funeral Home 5680 Pearl Rd. Parma, Oh 44129.
Kristen's light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved her. She will be profoundly missed but forever remembered.
