Lois Havlock

Lois Sylvia Havlock (Skoch) entered into eternal peace on August 6th, 2025. Lois was born on February 14, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Joseph and Anne Skoch. Mom married her true love Donald A Havlock on July 13, 1957 and they were blessed with four wonderful children. Donald J Havlock, Lois Ann Farley, Patrick Havlock (Carol) and Patra Freeman (Matthew). These four children blessed Mom and Dad with 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Mom absolutely loved her family with every breath she took. She was gentle and kind but at the same time strong willed and would go to the mat for any of her kids. Mom loved to read and instilled the love of books in all 4 of her children along with gardening and animals. For 20 plus years Mom and Dad lived on a 50 acre farm in Geauga County. This is where they raised their family. When Mom was older she moved back to Parma Heights, Ohio to be closer to her sister Joann Hildebrandt. You very often would hear mom say how much she loved her sister and that Joann was a saint right here on earth. While living in Parma Heights mom gleaned much enjoyment from volunteering at the Senior Center for 10+ years. I am her daughter Patra and as I sit here and write this obituary I cannot stress enough that my mother was the best mother and my life and this world will never be the same without her in it. Mom is preceded in death by her husband Donald Havlock, son Donald J Havlock and daughter Lois Ann Farley. Mom is now in Heaven with family and looking down upon us here. Rest in peace mom, Pat and I love you and know we will meet again!
