Lois Labanc

With her beloved kitty, Inky, by her side, Lois LaBanc (nee Lipansky) passed away after more than 90 years full of love, friendship, and family. Beloved wife of the late Robert Paul. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Stuffy), grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Lois studied bookkeeping at West Tech High School and applied her trade to multiple organizations  throughout her life. Along the way, she met Bob, whose skill as a carpenter, honed by the Marines, would keep them in Cleveland. When Lois turned 40, she and Bob left the city to start a farm in Spencer, Medina County. BobLoLin Farm would be the source of many memories still shared by the family to this day.

While at the farm, Lois developed a true love for animals, whether it be Henry the sheepdog or Mickey and Minnie, a couple of her many barn cats. In her later years, Lois, by now a bit of a "cat whisperer", welcomed a family of outdoor cats onto her porch. Inky was one of those cats, and he was with her as she read countless mystery novels in her recliner.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to Rescue Village 15463 Chillicothe Rd. in Novelty, Ohio 44072. This non-profit organization is devoted to helping animals in need, and perhaps your kind donation can help another Lois find her Inky. https://www.rescuevillage.org/
