Maryann Grabe (Holub), loving wife for over 70 years to Thomas L. Grabe (deceased), beloved daughter of John A. and Anne E. Holub (Hudak) (both deceased), beloved sister of Marge Holub, John J. Holub (deceased) and Bernard T. Holub (deceased), beloved sister-in-law of Rita Lundberg (Grabe), Lois Kenney (Grabe), and Carolyn Kinkopf (Grabe) and Betty Grabe (deceased). She also leaves many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Maryann worked at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church (now Mary Queen of Peace) for 5 years. Maryann loved all animals and loved to gather with family and friends. Maryann and Tom enjoyed their later years at St. Augustine Manor and considered the staff as family.
The wake and Funeral Mass will be on October 28, 2024 at Mary Queen of Peace Church, 4423 Pearl Road, Cleveland, OH. The wake will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., with the Mass immediately following at 11:00 a.m. The burial service following Mass will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery located at 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mary Queen of Peace Elevator Fund or St. Augustine Manor, 7801 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44102.
