Monica A. DOBRITCH

Monica Ann Dobritch (nee Fabec), age 80, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was a devoted wife, and an amazing mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Paul; her children John M. (Emily), Alan G. (Jennifer) and Lisa A (Todd) Lackner; grandchildren Bradly, Angel, Quinn, Ava, Luke, and Adrian; and brother Edward (Diane). She was preceded in death by her brothers Louis, Anthony, and James.

Monica was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Louis and Anna Fabec, and has been a long-time resident of Parma, Ohio. After many years as a stay-at-home mom, she graduated from Cuyahoga Community College as a physical therapist assistant. She worked at Mt. Sinai Hospital and Cleveland Clinic for a combined 26 years, providing care and healing to so many.

Monica was a loving soul, who provided support, kindness, and compassion to countless lives. She was a devoted member of Holy Family Parish for 50 years. She was dedicated to helping others, listening with empathy, and providing comfort and support to those in need. Monica was a selfless, genuine person, who’s smile would light up a room. She was so generous with her time and possessions, and would go out of her way to make others happy. She smiled most when surrounded by her family, friends, and loved ones.

She will be remembered for her generosity, warmth, and deep devotion to all those she loved. Her love and legacy will continue to inspire us and will live on forever in all of our hearts. Family and friends will greatly miss her.
