Listen to Obituary

Patricia Ann (Zajac) Kulig

Age 83.  Entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

Beloved daughter of the late Pauline and John Zajac. Devoted wife of the late Joseph John Kulig, with whom she shared a blessed marriage of 51 years, rooted in strong faith and enduring love.

Loving mother of Joseph (Lorraine) Kulig and Deborah Letourneau. Proud grandmother of Mitchell Letourneau (fiancé Anna Proctor) and Jacob Kulig. Dear sister of the late William, Steve, Chester, Mary Glagola and George Zajac. Treasured aunt, cousin, and friend to many. A caring great-aunt who kept close watch and concern for the younger generations of her extended family.

Patricia was a lifelong learner and nurtured a deep curiosity throughout her life. She graduated from Parma High School and went on to study nursing at St. John’s School of Nursing alongside her classmate and friend, Macrina. She later attended Kent State University and continued to take adult education classes, including memorable stained glass artwork courses. She was also a licensed cosmetologist, and in her later years, pursued English and writing studies at Cuyahoga Community College.

A woman of faith and song, Patricia sang in the choir at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church and later was an active member of Assumption and St. Columbkille Parishes, participating in the Renewal movement and the Padre Pio Prayer Group.

Patricia found joy in sewing, cooking, gardening, hiking, exploring historic sites, and, above all, spending time with her family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 21 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Columbkille Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Zabor Funeral Home, 5680 Pearl Rd., Parma (between Ridge and Snow), on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.
