Ms. Patricia Loesch passed away on August 27 th at Mount Alverna Village in Parma and was taken to Heaven by her "little angel". She was the greatest mom in the world and best friend to her only son, Bill Lane. Patricia was born April 3rd ,1943, to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Loesch of Parma, Ohio. Her father passed away early in her childhood but she was blessed to have Mr. Frank Streit, who owned Streit Monument Works on State Road, as her "Dad" for much of her life. She went to State Road School, Schaaf Junior High, and Parma Senior High. She had fond memories of life in the 50's and early 60's and enjoyed working downtown as a young woman in various retail stores, going to dances, and bowling on a travel league. Later in life, she co-owned Pat and Bill's Broadview Tavern in Old Brooklyn where she had many friends and memorable experiences. Her life's work, however, was being a wonderful mom to her son. He was always her pride and joy. She worked tirelessly and sacrificed many things to see that he was successful in life for which he will always be grateful. People that knew Pat would say she had a vibrant, determined personality with a glowing smile and a heart of gold. There was nothing she wouldn't do for others. She enjoyed watching deer play outside her condo window, driving her truck (fast) while playing 80's hard rock songs, and was a big fan of "Downton Abbey". Besides her son, Patricia is survived by her beloved step-sisters, Audrey and Beverly, in Florida, her dear cousin, Chuck, in Connecticut, and her faithful companion of 34 years, Steve, who served as a model caregiver to her over the last few years for which he can be forever proud. My mother had a fond spot in her heart for the children of St. Jude's Hospital. In lieu of flowers or other, please remember them instead. Rest in peace, Mom! You're the best! I'll always love you!
