Patricia L. Schwark, 77, of Parma, Ohio, passed away on December 2, 2025. She was born January 31, 1948 in Cleveland to the late Robert and Mildred Schwark. She is survived by her cherished sister, Cynthia, her dear nieces, Lauren Drozda and Megan Cooney (Joe), and her loving great-nephew, Jack Cooney.
Patricia was a devoted sister, aunt, and friend, and a guiding force in the lives of those she loved. She helped raise her nieces and was a steady, loving presence whose influence shaped her family in countless ways.
Patricia spent 35 years as an elementary school teacher in Parma, where her patience, humor, and dedication left a lasting legacy that will continue in the many students she taught and inspired.
She found joy in everyday life, Cleveland sports, going out to eat, the magic of theater, the voice of Elvis Presley, a good book, and any kind of music that moved her spirit. Most of all, she loved sharing those passions with others. Whether she was cheering on her teams, singing along to her favorite songs, or inviting someone into a world she adored, she made people feel welcome, included, and loved.
Patricia’s warmth, loyalty, and generosity touched everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, former students, and all who were lucky enough to be part of her life. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public services. Those who wish to honor Patricia’s memory are encouraged to celebrate the things she loved most, music and reading while eating a Jack Frost donut. Donations in her memory may be made to the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter. https://wl.donorperfect.net/weblink/WebLink.aspx?name=E348754&id=104
