Dr. Peter Mazzeo, age 85, passed away on December 7 th surrounded by family. Peter was a loving husband to Diane and father to Michele (Peter), Michael (Sheryl), Matthew, Justin (Brittany) and Heather. He is survived by his grandchildren: Jacob, Andrew, Anthony, Brandon, Christian,  Matthew, Samantha, Eva, Caden, Kennedy, Rosie, and Beckley.

Peter grew up in a large Italian family surrounded by love and food. His family was always first on his mind and in his heart. He was raised in Cleveland, Ohio by parents; Peter and Rachel and was big brother to Cheryl LaRosa (Bob). Cheryl's sons Bob (Denise) and Ryan (Takako) were also very dear to him.

As a teen, Peter delivered newspapers, worked in the bakery at a grocery store and at the family bar. He always exhibited a strong work ethic which he instilled in his children. Peter graduated from Bowling Green State University and then went on to graduate from Case Western Reserve University dental school. His dental graduation was one of his proudest moments and he excelled at his craft, working until the age of 75. For a short time, Peter served as a dentist in the Air Force and was based at Peace AFB in New Hampshire. Peter and his first wife, Camille, saw some serious snow and experienced the birth of their first two children in Maine.

Peter never met a stranger and was always invested in peoples' personal stories. He befriended everyone and loved to deal with his "regulars" at the bank, bakery, and favorite restaurants. Pete had a love for the beach and spent time with the family on Hilton Head Island SC, enjoying the sun and a long walk on the beach. He had a great love of food and cars and a fondness for giving and shopping at TJ Max and Marshalls. Peter never hesitated to show love in words, deeds, and affection. You always knew you were loved by him. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend to all. He will be deeply missed.

The family would like to thank the team at The Avenue in Medina and Traditions Hospice for all their attention and care. To make a memorial donation in Pete's name, please visit the following websites…
