We mourn the passing of Ramona Scolaro (Sheehan) who passed away on June 21, 2021, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Ramona's passion for life was only eclipsed by her strong Christian faith, guiding her throughout her life. With unwavering beliefs, Ramona's exuberance was infectious, and touched many around her. She had the ability to light up the room, and a laugh that was electric. She had an unselfish and generous approach to life. Her passion was caring for children, which forged many lifelong friendships. She enjoyed what life had to offer – gardening, boating, travelling, hiking, skydiving, and being with friends and family. However, her greatest joy was being "Nonna" to Lilly. Ramona is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Joseph, their daughter, Nicole Cioban, granddaughter Lilly, and her loving dog, Daisy. She is also survived by her father Frederick, brothers Freddie and Eric, sisters Rhonda Alvey (Joe), Renae, Rachelle, and many nieces, nephews, and friends – especially lifelong friend Kathy Miska. She was preceded in death by her mother Margaret, and brother Ryan.
We will be honoring Ramona with a "Celebration of Life" at The Lodge at Allardale, 141 Remsen Road, Medina Ohio (Granger Township) 44256 on July 14 from 4-8 p.m. All are welcome. To offer condolences visit www.zaborfh.com .
