Richard H. BALBIER, age 82, of Brooklyn OH, passed away peacefully. Loving husband of 55 years to Barbara (nee Alexsovich). Dearest Father of Annette Gyory (Eric), Sherry Esper (Brad), and Bridget. Dear Papa of Erica, Hillary, and Alexis. Beloved brother of Ronald (Mary), Karen Surella (Marty), and Peggy Menear (Bob). Dear uncle and friend to many. Richard was a former Sergeant and Police Officer for the City of Brooklyn OH for 33 years. He was a former Councilman and Mayor of Brooklyn as well as being a US Army Reservist and avid fisherman. Richard was always available to his friends and family for advice. "You will forever be in our hearts and we will miss you dearly".
