REITZ ROBERT "BOB" REITZ, age 81, has joined his loving wife of 50 years Margaret (nee Towey), who was deceased in 2007. His time apart from her is over. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Florence (Kocab) Reitz. Bob leaves to cherish his memory his 6 children and 17 grandchildren: Anne Ellett (Allen), Doug (fiancée Samantha), David and Elizabeth; Eileen Miller (Steve), Braden (fiancée Caroline), Meredith, Zachary and Elise; Robert (Cindy), Kevin and Lauren; Chuck (Meg), A.J., Mimi and Sophie; Judee DeJaco (Andy), Robert, Nicholas and Elena; John, Camryn and Ciara, along with his siblings Marie Hirsch (late Andrew), Michael (Janis), Rita Zak (Janusz) and sister-in-law Jeanne Reitz. Leading by example, as a graduate of St. Ignatius he lived his Catholic faith daily and never missed mass. A career teacher (History/Latin) and coach, spanning 33 years at St. Ignatius, Normandy and Parma High Schools, Bob, called Bubs by his family, also loved to tell and collect good jokes. He loved sports and competed in adult basketball, bowling, golf, and the Ohio Senior Olympics, earning gold and silver in his 60's. His fairness was unparalleled (i.e. inflation-adjusted allowances) with financial generosity transferred to his grandchildren's education. Satisfaction knowing he's again partnered with Marge in heaven at the pinochle table.
