Rosemary M. Oberg

Rosemary Oberg (Nehrer), 89, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Oberg (2014) and Howard Berg (1998).  Devoted mother to Sandy Berg-Harrison (Herb) and Karen Fox (Brian). Loving step mother to Bryan (Sharon) Daryl (Corrine, deceased) and Russell (deceased). Loving grandmother to Marty, Sean, Ryan (Thomasin) and Peter. Great grandmother to precious Uma. Dear sister of the late Patricia Pfeiffer (Ed deceased), James Nehrer (Mary C) and Beth Grau (Chuck). Proud aunt to several nieces and nephews. Dear friend to many. Devoted Catholic and servant of the Lord. 

Rosemary loved to garden and spend time with family and friends. She had a generous heart and volunteered for several organizations throughout her lifetime including St Bridget of Kildare, Girl Scouts and Reach to Recovery. She was a graduate of St. Stephen’s High School and a Silver Scout. She always had a smile and kind words to offer. She was the founding member of the Little Flower Mission Circle #49 that was started in 1961 and supported missionaries and charities for 57 years. 

Visitation will be at Zabor Funeral Home, 5680 Pearl Rd. Parma, Ohio 44129 (between Ridge and Snow roads) on Sunday, August 16th from 1pm to 4pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am Monday, August 17th at St Bridget of Kildare Parish, 5620 Hauserman Rd. Parma, OH 44130. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery will immediately follow the Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to lightofheartsvilla.org
