Sandra Burns (nee Diksa), 91, went to eternal rest peacefully on July 21st, surrounded by her loving family. The daughter of Alexander and Angeline Diksa (Bashinski), both deceased. Loving wife of Thomas, deceased, for 60 years. Devoted mother of Thomas (Anna) and David (Leslie). Grandmother of Daniel, Alexander, Mark and Maria. Cousin of Maureen Meeker, Barbra "Bobbie" Martini, and Carol Thomas.
Sandra was a kind and positive person who devoted herself to her family, raising two sons, caring for her husband and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing and traveling. She will be missed by many people who had a chance to know her.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Guardian Angel program for educational scholarships at St. Thomas More Church in Brooklyn Ohio.
