Suzan Krist

Suzan Krist passed away surrounded by family on June 10, 2022. Beloved wife of Joseph Krist, devoted mother to furbaby, Gracie. Dear sister to Jeff (Cindy) Sheldon, and Paul (Jill) Sheldon, loving aunt to Chris, Nikki, Madeleine, Regan, Brandon, Kelsea, and Joey. Sue was a caring and generous partner, a selfless pet parent, a caring daughter, sister, and friend. Suzan was born in Florence, KY on June 28, 1960 to Paul and Marilyn (Moffitt) Sheldon. Suzan worked in banking from an early age, but her life would change when she worked at the Federal Reserve Bank (Cincinnati). She met her future husband, Joe Krist, who also worked at the Federal Reserve Bank (Cleveland) when he was temporarily working in Cincinnati. Soon after, Sue transferred and moved to Cleveland. The two were married in Lakewood on July 21, 2006, and moved to Fairview Park. Sue loved gardening and making improvements to their home. She took pride in their beautiful yard; planting flowers, hostas and ferns. Everyone who met Sue was impacted by her kindness and generosity. Above all else she loved all animals great and small. Sue will be dearly missed but always in our hearts. There will be a celebration of life tribute forthcoming for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Cleveland APL clevelandapl.org or the International Myeloma Foundation www.myeloma.org .
