I did not see it in the paper as I do not get the Plain Dealer. I would have been to the wake if I had known. before today. Stan was a great guy and wonderful friend to Jim all those years. He was like Jim's brother. He was a kind and fun person. You two were perfect together. I did not know he had been ill. Wish I could have been there to see him one more time. When you are up to it I hope you will give me a call. If there is anything I can do let me know. I am so very sorry Denise. When I was a young 20 something, living on my own, I met Jason & his family. Jason & I became great friends.. His father Stanely was understanding of my life situations and made me feel like family. I spent many nights there, the family would be asleep and Stanely would come to the couch, get me up and make us a sandwhich. He would take time to chat, and offer wisdom without imposing or making me feel young & foolish. He left a positive effect on me, and what I wanted to father like. Calm, Generous, Honest & Cool!!! I now have four kids, two sons, and will celebrate forever, my friend, Jason's- Great Father! I look forward to having you out on the road, riding with us forever! What a great family, built by a great man!
