Dear father of Linda Losneck, Susan Damm (Ken), Scott (Sylvia) and the late Earle Jr. Loving grandfather of seven and great grandfather of one. Dear brother of Arlyne Fodor (Bob, deceased), the late Robert (Millie), and the late Walter. US Army WWII Veteran.
Funeral and military service, Thursday, June 9 at 9:30 a.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
HIGGINS, John H.

John H. HIGGINS, age 90. Passed away on June 2, 2011 at Gardens of the Western Reserve. John was born in Cleveland on December 8, 1920, to parents Ann M. and James H. Higgins. Preceded in death by his loving wife LaMona and his daughter Kathy. John leaves behind niece Karen Martin Duffy (Stephen), and nephew L. James Martin (Terri). John served his country honorably in WWII as a Marine in both the Atlantic and Pacific theaters. When he came home he took a job at Ford and worked his way through the Marshall School of Law. He managed his own legal practice for 50 years and also retired from Ford Motor Company. John was a fourth degree Knight of Columbus, and was the epitome of the Marine Corps motto, semper fidelis. He was as kind and gentle as he was steadfast.
